These maps are unique to our product. They can be displayed in enhanced 3D, and the shading adds to the relief features. This can be acheived at literally the touch of a button. Press this button on the toolbar

Relief Shaded Trench Maps

Relief Shaded version of the Trench Map

Great War Digital have created digitally enhanced Relief Shaded versions of the Trench Maps that further enhance understanding of the battlefield. Relief maps are included for important areas of the Somme battlefield, plus all areas that contain significant areas of front line. The Map file name is titled with a '-Relief' suffix.

Note: The Relief and 3D features are only available within the geographic area of the Memory-Map Nord Picardie-Champagne Ardennes 1:25,000 companion product. The features do not at present apply to Belgium.
